Related posts brought to you by Yet Another Related Posts Plugin.]]> Chicago mayor Richard Daley and Vancouver mayor Gregor Robertson have entered into a (maybe) friendly wager on their hockey teams who are facing each other right now in the NHL playoffs. The Vancouver Canucks are already up 1-0 in the western conference semi-finals. That has the Vancouver mayor closer to winning three cases of Red Felt Beer, two cases of sangria and two bottles of red zinfandel. If the Blackhawks win the series mayor Robertson will owe two cases of Granville Island, some cherry stout from Storm Brewing and a case of Molson Canadian.

I love it that these mayors are placing bets on their teams in the NHL playoffs, but it is even better that they are betting beer. I’ve never had Red Felt, Granville Island or anything from Storm Brewing. I guess I know what I am going to have to look for at the liquor store for tomorrow’s games.
